and Custom Rosaries and Chaplets
Devotion to the Infant of Prague began with Sister Marguerite, a Carmelite religious, who died in France in 1648. She was well-known for her devotion to the Holy Child Jesus. With the guidance received through prayer, Sister Marguerite patterned the Chaplet of the Infant of Prague. Jesus promised Sister Marguerite that devotion to this chaplet was pleasing to him and because of this, the faithful who recite it in memory of His Birth, His Flight into Egypt, and His Hidden Life at Nazareth, will not only be granted the special graces of purity of heart and innocence, but in addition will be unfailingly assisted by His Divine Help in all their spiritual and temporal wants.
In order to inspire the use of this Chaplet, Pope Pius IX granted a 100 day indulgence for each recitation, also applicable to the Poor Souls. (Aug. 9, 1855)
“If you need comforting, and if you need encouragement to go with your needs to the Infant Jesus.”

A short simple prayer to the Infant Jesus
Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to you.
Little Jesus thank you for bringing us safely through this day (this night). Help us to bring Your smile of friendship, Your love, the Good News and Your healing into the lives of those people we meet and those in need.
Infant Jesus shower us with Your blessings that we may worship You in tranquility and peace and be permanently dedicated to the service of Your Kingdom.
Because in the images of the Infant of Prague, the Child Jesus is dressed in red, it is customary to create this chaplet using red beads.
We have chosen a fiery red Czech crystal for the twelve beads which represent the twelve years of Jesus’ childhood and fire agate for the three beads which symbolize the Holy Family.
Ornate pear-shaped beads, symbolic of the crown on the Child’s head, end the chaplet and space the three fire agate beads. Bali-style antique bronze spaces the crystal beads. A hand cast bronze Infant of Prague medal completes this delicate but powerful limited edition chaplet which measures 5”.

Praying the Chaplet of the Infant of Prague
This chaplet consists of 3 Our Fathers in honor of the Holy Family, and 12 Hail Mary's in memory of the 12 years of the Sacred Infancy of our Divine Savior. A medal of the Infant Jesus of Prague begins the chaplet.
Beginning with the medal, the following invocation is said:
Divine Infant Jesus, I adore Thy Cross and I accept all the cross Thou wilt be pleased to send me. Adorable Trinity, I offer Thee for the glory of Thy Holy Name of God, all the adorations of the Sacred Heart of the Holy Infant Jesus.
Each Our Father and Hail Mary is preceded by the aspiration:
"And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us."
On finishing the chaplet pray:
Holy Infant Jesus, bless and protect us.
