This rosary was created in honor of Mary’s Seven Sorrows which began with the Prophecy of Simeon.
For this rosary, we’ve chosen to symbolize Mary’s sorrows with jet Czech glass Aves and crystal spacers. The black beads reflect the anguish which entered Mary’s heart as she heard the words of Simeon’s prophesy. For the Paters, we have chosen Chevron Amethyst. Its purple is a color symbolic of spirituality and royalty, in this, it symbolizes Mary as Queen of Heaven. Very important to the concept of this rosary is its center, a bronze heart pierced by seven swords. This, of course, represents Mary’s sorrowful heart. Completed with a simple bronze crucifix, this limited edition rosary measures 20”.

V. Pray for us, most Sorrowful Virgin,
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
O God, in whose Passion, according to the prophecy of Simeon, a sword of grief pierced through the most sweet soul of Thy glorious Blessed Virgin Mother Mary: grant that we, who celebrate the memory of her Seven Sorrows, may obtain the happy effect of Thy Passion, Who lives and reigns world without end. Amen.
This litany was composed by Pope Pius VII while he was held in captivity by Napoleon.
Let us bind ourselves tightly to the Sorrowful Heart of our Heavenly Mother
and reflect on it's boundless grief and how precious is our soul."
~ Saint Padre Pio~
